Ancient Indian Wisdom Comes to Life in Geoffrey Pearce’s New American Edition of Principles of Vedic Astrology

Discover how 5,000 years of ancient Indian wisdom illuminates the mysteries of karma, consciousness, human destiny, and the deeper patterns shaping our lives.

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Author, researcher, and respected Vedic astrology educator Geoffrey Pearce announces the American release of his book Principles of Vedic Astrology: The Brilliant Indian System for Determining Our Karma, a comprehensive exploration of one of India's oldest systems of knowledge and its philosophical understanding of human existence.

Drawing on more than 40 years of dedicated study, research, and practical experience, Pearce presents an in-depth examination of Jyotish, the traditional Indian system of astrology, revealing its underlying principles and its relationship to karma, individual experience, and the unfolding patterns of life.

Rooted in ancient Indian wisdom, Vedic astrology offers a framework for examining the relationship between human experience, personal responsibility, and the consequences of past actions. Through carefully structured explanations and practical examples, Pearce guides readers through the philosophical foundations and interpretive methods of this complex tradition, making its teachings accessible to students and serious practitioners alike.

Principles of Vedic Astrology grew out of extensive teaching materials Pearce originally developed for a three-year course. The book brings together decades of accumulated knowledge, offering readers a systematic approach to understanding the principles, techniques, and deeper philosophical dimensions of Jyotish.

The book gives detailed guidance on how to interpret natal charts for individuals and nations, the nature of karma, traditional remedial practices, and how to determine the auspicious time to begin new activities within the Vedic system. The appendix includes a talk given by Pearce at an international Vedic Astrology conference about an astrological cycle affecting humanity.

With its American release, Pearce seeks to introduce a wider audience to the intellectual and spiritual traditions that have informed his life's work, providing a resource for those interested in Indian philosophy, consciousness, self-understanding, and the study of Vedic astrology.
